Behavioural Advice

Behavioural problems in cats and dogs can sometimes be quite complex. In some cases it is also important to rule out medical reasons for the change in behaviour. For example, a cat that has started urinating inside may have a urinary infection or crystals in the urine and a urine test would be recommended to rule out these problems. Changes in behaviour may also be seen when a pet is uncomfortable (e.g. back pain). If you are worried about your pets behaviour, make an appointment with one of our veterinarians to discuss the problem and rule out any medical causes.

Behavioural problems can occur due to boredom, stress/anxiety and lack of training.
